The Tax Efficient Way To Give

The Give As You Earn scheme is a great way for all employees working for a UK company to make tax free donations straight from their gross pay. Give As You Earn has several ways of giving but the "Direct Donation" scheme enables you to give tax free donations to EJF through your salary*. Your employer will be able to assist you in setting up a donation but they must be registered with Give As You Earn to make donations on your behalf. It is very easy to set this up, for further details and to see if your employer is registered you can look on the Charities Aid Foundation (CAF) website.

Or contact CAF:

EJF has a unique GAYE registration number 000432487, it may be helpful to pass this on to your employer.

Any money you donate is worth more to EJF and to you, because it is deducted from your earnings before they are taxed. For every £20 you give EJF, it costs you only £15.60 (at 22% tax rate) and £12.00 (at 40% tax rate).

If you have any questions please don't hesitate to call EJF on 020 7359 0440.
