Making a difference this Christmas

On Sunday, a team of more than 40 EJF staff and supporters braved the rain and donned santa suits for a 5km run around Greenwich Park.

Despite injuries (and some serious wardrobe malfunctions!) everyone did brilliantly, finishing the run and raising much-needed funds for EJF’s campaigns. A total amount will be known in the coming weeks so keep the donations rolling in. WELL DONE to all that took part!

EJF hit the streets and joined the Wave march.

Saturday 5th December

EJF, a member of the Stop Climate Chaos Coalition, joined other coalition members on the march to Parliament, demanding that our Government take urgent action on climate change.
As many as 50,000 people from across the country took part, adding their voice to the call for climate justice.

EJF was delighted that Gordon Brown invited the SCCC board members to 10 Downing Street after the event to hear their demands, meanwhile some of the EJF team went to a meeting with other coalition members to tell Ed Miliband, Secretary of State for Energy and Climate Change, what messages he should be taking to Copenhagen.

Environmental Justice at the Clothes Show Live

All weekend fashion-savvy shoppers have been snapping up EJF's ethical designer T-shirts at the Clothes Show Live in Birmingham supporting our campaign for fairer cotton that doesn't cost the earth.

EJF wants to give a big THANK YOU to everyone that supported us this weekend. Without your hard work, time and donations, EJF wouldn’t be able to do the work that it does.

If you'd like to get more involved please consider supporting our work with a regular gift. As little as £3 a month will help us make a real difference.

Or check out a real challenge you can set yourself for 2010 to help us protect people and planet.
