EJF has raised £12,500 at an event where leading ethical fashion designer Katharine Hamnett had just 6 minutes to tell an audience of 200 how EJF is working to Save the Sea.

The event was organised by The Funding Network last week and it was 'record breakers' all round with over 200 potential donors attending and pledging over £100k.

EJF was donated more than double its original ask as people dug deep in their pockets to support the Save the Sea campaign.

Presenter for EJF, Katharine Hamnett said "On behalf of myself and the Environmental Justice Foundation I would like to thank Coutts for hosting The Funding Network event and especially all the people who generously donated to the SAVE THE SEA campaign. Duncan Copeland (EJF Campaigner) is thrilled with the donation and says “EJF can do a lot with this money”. Many thanks again".
