BAN DEADLY PESTICIDES

PesticidesSend an online letter calling for the Indian Government to support a global ban on the deadly pesticide endosulfan.

3 reasons to send this letter today:

PesticidesExposure to endosulfan has been linked to health conditions including physical deformities, cerebral palsy, infertility and cancer.

PesticidesEndosulfan can travel great distances from where it is sprayed and has even been found in the blood of polar bears.

Pesticides62 countries, including the Europe Union countries, have already banned its use.

India remains the biggest producer and user of endosulfan despite one of its states, Kerala, already banning it and the availability of viable alternatives.
