Bringing an end to endosulfan

PesticidesSend an online letter to the APVMA and ask them to end the use of endosulfan in Australia

Endosulfan is bad for people and bad for the environment:

PesticidesExposure to endosulfan has been linked to severe and debilitating physical deformities, reproductive problems, renal failure, and in some cases exposure has been fatal.

PesticidesEndosulfan can travel great distances from where it is sprayed and has even been found in the blood of polar bears. Its continued use in one country is a threat to the rest.

PesticidesMore than 60 countries, including Europe Union countries and USA, have already banned its use.

The Australian Pesticides and Veterinary Medicines Authority (the government body responsible for the registration of all agro-chemical in Australia entering the market place) is currently reassessing the registration of endosulfan.

Let the APVMA know you support an end to endosulfan.
